WELCOME FROM THE DIRECTOR

Kristie TaylorChristian schooling began for me on the day my younger sister was born – September 10, 1975. I wasn’t in school yet, but Monroe Christian allowed me to attend third grade with my older sister since my parents were otherwise occupied. I remember being the center of attention – loved, looked after, and encouraged. I don’t remember many details, but the warmth of that day has always been a sweet memory.

Now, as the director of Lancaster Christian Academy, I want to give your student that same experience of being welcomed, known, and loved by their school community. Christian education focuses on the heart of each child and his or her character development. According to the Association of Christian Schools International, “Character formation is integral to learning because a person of character is one that is prepared for life and finds real purpose in both learning and in serving others.”

My desire is to see LCA model Christian love AND build a strong academic foundation for your child. All content is authored by God, the creator of all things, and each subject will be approached from that Biblical worldview. With active hands-on learning, small class sizes, and experienced classroom teachers, students at LCA will be able to “grow in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man” (Luke 2:52).

Thank you for making Christian education a priority for your family and for entrusting us to partner with you in raising your child. With God as our guide, we can counter current culture, instill traditional and Biblical values, and raise up a new generation of Christ followers.

I am so excited to serve you,

Miss Kristie
